Our Mission

FOWL is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds to support the Westport Free Public Library.  Funds raised through membership and book sales are used to purchase collection materials, museum passes, free programs and other purchases that benefit the library and community it serves.  Donating to the Friends helps make our community a richer place in which to live.  We are listed on Charity Navigator.

The FOWL Board of Directors meets 7 times per year.  These meetings are held on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm in the Manton Room and are open to the public.  Come see what we're all about.
