Thanks to generous funding provided by the Estate of Richard Anderson and the community-oriented BayCoast Bank, the Library underwent the installation of new carpeting throughout its facility. The new carpeting contributes to a more comfortable and inviting atmosphere for all patrons.
Additionally, two study pods have been recently installed, paid for through the town's operating budget for the Library. One pod is intended for individual use, while the other is suitable for small groups. These pods are a valuable addition, as they help to either block noise or prevent group noise from disturbing other Library patrons.
Lastly, new automatic doors, funded by a grant from the Manton Foundation, make it easy to enter the Library, leaving your hands free to carry all the books you'll be checking out!
