On Monday, January 19, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the civil rights leader whose nonviolent demonstrations and impactful speeches confronted racial segregation and motivated the nation to strive for social justice.
Observed as a National Day of Service, MLK Day inspires volunteering and community engagement, featuring King’s belief that real transformation arrives through active participation and collective responsibility. The holiday honors one of his famous quotes, "What are you doing for others?"
