Libraries are an essential public service, and even more essential are the librarians who keep them running, connecting people with the information they need day in and day out. To honor them, the American Library Association presents the annual I Love My Librarian Awards, in which anyone can nominate a librarian who has touched them.
This year’s recipients, 10 chosen out of 1,500 nominees, “positively impact the lives of those they serve every day,” ALA President Lessa Kanani’opua Pelayo-Lozada said in a statement.
